Mother's Anniversary
Temple Ceremony
Temple Ceremony
The Vietnamese belief in the Mother Goddesses of the Three Realms (Heaven, Water, and Mountains/Forests) is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage tradition. The Mother's Anniversary, particularly for Mother Goddess Liễu Hạnh, is celebrated heavily between the 3rd and 10th of the third lunar month. The festival brings communities together through vibrant performances, ceremonial offerings, and cultural rituals that honor health, prosperity, and ancestral connection.
At its heart, this celebration reflects the strength of community and shared cultural identity. Vietnamese Americans, families, students, and neighbors come together in a welcoming space where everyone is invited to participate, learn, and celebrate without barriers.
